Ms. Mary Vogelsberg
Instrumental Music Director
Highlands Ranch High School
Ms. Vogelsberg is a passionate music educator and accomplished flutist based in Colorado, with over 15 years of teaching and performance experience. She holds a degree in Music Education from Colorado State University and previously served as Director of Band and Orchestra at Prospect Ridge Academy. Additionally, Mary has been a woodwind instructor and marching band staff member at Monarch, Centaurus, and Horizon High Schools. Ms. Vogelsberg is committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where students can grow as confident, expressive musicians. She is excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm to the Highlands Ranch High School community.
Ethan Mead

Cresthill Middle School
Ethan Mead is a Colorado-based music educator who leads the band, orchestra, and guitar programs at Cresthill Middle School, and supports the HRHS Falcon Regiment. A lifelong saxophonist and former high school drum major, Ethan earned his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Colorado Boulder. He is passionate about providing students with enriching musical experiences. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, climbing, skiing, and exploring Colorado’s beauty.

Chris Nedd
Guard Director
Chris Nedd is the Color Guard Director at HRHS. He has eight + years of performance and five years of teaching experience. He directed and assisted programs at Fountain-Fort Carson High School, The Classical Academy, Evergreen High School, and Falcon High School, each adding to his passion and expertise. Chris is excited to bring his experience and enthusiasm to the HRHS Guard. He looks forward to an incredible season.
Tyler Richardson
Brass Specialist
Tyler Richardson is a music educator and performer based in Denver. He has been on the marching band staff at multiple high schools in the area since 2014 and is excited to support the HRHS band program this year. Tyler received a bachelor’s degree in trumpet performance from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in music education from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Along with teaching brass, he is a full time elementary music instructor in JEFFCO public schools and also enjoys running, bowling, and singing in the Colorado Symphony Chorus.
